i wanted to love this book or at least to like it very much, as in 4 stars. but i couldn't. i love time travel but found this book so out of sequence as to be distracting rather than intriguing. there were too many parts left hanging for me to fully enjoy it. i loved the relationship dance between oona, her mother and kenzie. i loved the brooklyn ny setting. and loved the vietnam beaches experiences, too.
