Terrier was yet another great book by Tamora Pierce. It was a light read with engaging characters and a plot that kept me turning the pages.
I applaude Ms. Pierce in her use of themes not commonly approached by Young Adult authors. In terrier it is the issue of maternal domestic violence. It was interesting to see a situation where the woman is the abuser in a relationship so casually and artfully slipped into a book.
Great read, I cannot wait for the next one!
