A page turner! Multiple bizarre stories come together. Young men, foolish and self indulgent and impulsive especially when drunk commit crimes with sad and even poignant results. Jacob, rookie cop, and seasoned cop, Konrad, the inspector, have to piece the events together. The character development is excellent, and the events very original. Fossum is awesome. (had to rhyme, didn't I)
