I had a harder time getting into this book than the others. It was a bit slower but it was okay. I wasn't dazzled like the last book. Nor did I feel like I would burst if I didn't read the next installment right away.

I think part of what I like about this series was the side characters like Murphy, Kincaid, Thomas, the Carpenters, etc.... This one was concentrated mostly on Harry so I was slightly disappointed. It also wasn't as humorous or as much fun as the other ones.

Overall I'm glad to have read it but it definitely was my least favorite book in the series. If this is the first time you are reading Butcher, don't start with this book. It will make no sense to you.
