Well written historical romance set in Key West Fall 1935. Three women from very different backgrounds are impacted by the strongest hurricane to make landfall in history at that time. Coming on the heels of the Great Depression, their backgrounds range from wife of an abusive fisherman, Cuban socialite whose family fell on hard times during the revolution, and a NYC socialite whose father and brother committed suicide after the Great Crash leaving her to fend for her mother and herself for the first time ever.
