As a 6 yr old, Abby Larson watched in horror as Crow warriors killed her parents. Soon Abby and her brother Ryder were running for their lives only to be captured by Cheyenne warriors.
Abby was raised by the Cheyenne and was given the name Tears Like Rain. Tears Like Rain hated what the white men were doing to the Cheyenne and yet when a white cavalry officer-Zach Mercer-was beaten and stabbed and was on the brink of death, Tears Like Rain risked her life to save Zach. Zach longed to make his beautiful captor/rescuer desire him as much as she despised him. Each of them would have to learn the lesson that the bounds of love are unbreakable.
This is book 1 of a trilogy that continues in Wind Rider and Sierra.
I read all three books in 4 days. I literally did not want to put the books down. I was totally engrossed in the characters and the stories.
