The life of a facinating woman starts in Paris, moves on to Belgium,investigates the society of the supreme Gnosis,London. She discovers the Theosophical Society in Paris and Buddism and other oriental philosophies.
In 1891 Alexandria Departs to India, in 1895 sings with the Opera Comique in Indochina. She later publishes a libertarian essay, undertakes second Asian Sojourn. In 1912 meets prince Sidkeong of Sikkim, glimpses Tibet, and has two interviews with the Dali Lama.
During her lifetime she lives as a hermit in the Himalayas,tours Japan and Korea, lives among monks at Kum Bum monastery, and lives in China during the Sino-Japanese War!
