I am not crazy in love with vampire tales, but I do enjoy a good one every once in a while. There were just too many 'unbelieveables' in this tale. The first vampire, Aramis, comes across as slightly naive & rather clumsy as he first attempts to seduce our heroine. The second vampire comes across as so all-powerful that it's off-putting. The great sex makes up for it. Towards the end of our story, the author introduces another power - of flight - and then the story just ends rather abruptly.
By the way; if both the heroes of this tale have long, blue-black ponytales, who is the short-haired blond guy on the cover? If the publishers don't think that the public will notice these details, he must have a very low opinion of his readers.
