Ugh. Way too sappy - I just can't get into this type of genre (Note: I live on a farm and I LOVE animals.) The ending was touching, but I found myself skipping pages just to get through it. If you're a fan of Nicholas Sparks, etc., you'll love it. Not my cup of tea.
