You of course will want to start with the first book in this series that started this all. But if you reading this review, you are most likely already a fan of this very unique series. Since I am not a hard core paranormal fan, I could be wrong about this series "uniqueness". This book has multiple mysteries to be solved and you wont get bored with that part. I think the part that might get old is the constant bickering over who can take care of themselves and who can protect the other. blah blah blah. I also think the spiritual "other plane/other dimension" description of sex is so unique, but I find it annoying. Ok they have sex as if they are not human, but eternal spiritual being with human body parts ZZZZZZZZZ.... Why would I want to read that? It is so unobtainable, I wont be having that kind of experience ever. It is just lame to me.

BUT, despite those two annoying points the bickering, and the lame sex, I really did enjoy book 7, loved the twists at the end, and jumped right into book 8.
