I have not finished reading the book, but so far it does have useful information. While reading through it some of the things she mentions are merely reminders, but in thinking about my past work experience these points help me to see my own behavior at work more clearly. I consider myself an assertive person, but often times this is not the case. What I think is assertive with politeness involved is not always smart in the workplace. It is possible to remain diplomatic, but play the game in a better fashion. This book will help you think work from different angles. Even when I read the parts that I already know the answers to, I find that I still need to hear it again.
