I really enjoyed this book. I am delighted to have found a new series to read. This is the first book in a series of 14, so far...

An elderly woman comes back to her family home and hires a young man and his wife to help her put the grounds and house back in order. She developes a friendship with the wife through teaching her to quilt. The wife helps the older lady regain some friendships with local people that she has be estranged from for many years.

I won't tell you the ending...but it's really great...and launches you into wanting to read the next one as soon as you can get your hands on it! :)
