I really like Kris Radish. These books are about real women and their relationships. They are written about you and about me. About our neighbor and our best friends.
In this one, Connie Nixon is retiring and selling her house. While going through boxes she discovers her daughter Jessica's secret life; she is co-owner of a sex toy business. Connie has always made lists; lists of things she wants to do, places to go. Every Sunday she re-reads the list and makes any alternations. She decides to go to NYC and confront her daughter. In doing so, she ends up confronting herself and making changes - without the list.
The language is Radish's books is real. It is honest and speaks to all women.
