Although set in Nottingham, England during World War II, the Booklover's Library by Madeline Martin is depicted in the book description as âheartwarming. The choice of the word "heartwarming" is an apt one. The book picks up on the history of lending library in the Boots Chemist shops and of life in England during the ware. Despite it being a story of war, this book is a sweet, feel good tale of family, friends, and books.
