Well written. Hero came from an impoverished background and is gritty/strong character with nobel traits rather than just nobility. The heroine is almost Dickensian - quick descent into poverity and barely survives the trip. She is helped by a motley family lead by a young urchin that is more worldly than her, keeps her out of death's grip. The hero's young cousin causes the heroine to lose her governess post, tries several different ways to remediate that problem, but causes other problems. Excellent regency romance, not much actual romance but the book is very dramatic and engrossing with strong characters.
