As a dedicated and patient swapper who lives near a good local library, I don't buy new books for myself. Ilona Andrews is the one exception! This series is so great that I end up rereading all the books whenever I read one of them. I love the world building, the characters, the integrity of the heroes, the value given to family, the interesting variety of abilities possessed in this world, and even the descriptions of the fancy dresses and castles.
