This is a delightful read and the writing style is very different than the first two books. Although it had its side points, most of it was filled with silliness and laughter. I would definitely read this series in order though.
This book mirrors the first two a bit. Pippa is very much like Juliana from the first book. They were streetwise and filthy with a hidden agenda. The themes of the clashes between Catholics vs. Protestants / Irish vs. English are echoed in Book 2. Perhaps Wiggs was serious about Zara's prophecy about these three women's lives coming a full circle or she ran out of ideas. Regardless I think this one is my favorite of the series.
