I love this series - read it all in less than a year (among other books, naturally). What a splendid adventure with great characters you'd love to know for real. When I finished Cress, I simply COULD NOT WAIT until my turn came up on PBS so I bought a new copy and it was worth every cent. What a terrific end to this series! Every character got a lot of attention (the book is, after all, 800+ pages long) and I cannot imagine anyone having a problem with the resolution. I finished it this morning and am so happy for myself (because reading this was a lot of fun) as well as for these characters I've come to know.

One question is - what makes this a young adult book vs. adult fiction? It's very clever, smartly written, with complicated and intelligent world-building, and a lot of violence, but also love, loyalty and emotional and physical affection. But no sex. Is that all it takes to make something YA? Well, I'm A and I loved it.
