I do not recommend this book.

I found the ending of this book very, very disappointing. It had a great beginning and seemed like it was going somewhere.

A fascinating young teenager and her young relative explore the town, discuss things, etc. The writing was beautiful.

Then she had (underage) sex with a dirty old man, a child died, and that was basically the end.

It just seemed so pointless and stupid.

I mean, really, what was the point?
