Didn't care for the writing--296 pages is just too long for this story, the author takes every single detail of Pender's life and just goes on and on about nothing, and does the same about every person involved with Pender in her life--some of the description are just too long and just not important and finally I just skipped through the last half and didn't bother with a lot of the pages with just descriptions and more descriptions. They murdered 2 people and she escaped from prison, going back to her childhood her school years and on and on, a little of those would be okay but most of this is just way too long and boring.
