This is the third book by Rachel Hore that I have read and she is now firmly established as my new favourite writer! This book features what I have now recognize as her trademark writing device; the main story set in the present day with a related story set in the late 1800s. She uses this device very well and although she has used it in every one of her books, it continues to work for me. Very well written and plotted, an involving story, appealing characters and an interesting setting -- a stained glass workshop that has been in the family for generations. I have seen this author described as "a contemporary Rosamunde Pilcher" and I totally agree. Can't wait for her to write more books!
