Charlaine Harris, Nalini Singh & Ilona Andrews are among my favorite authors of the paranormal genre. The stories by all 3 lived up to my expectations.

Harris' Britlingtons are new to me. I don't know if she has written about them before, but I enjoyed this alternate universe story.

I didn't like the first of Nalini Singh's Guild Hunter series, so never read any more of them. After this story, I might try then again.

Ilona Andrews "Magic Mourns" features Andrea Nash, Kate's best friend. I enjoyed her exploits as much as I do Kate's.

I have met Meljean Brook is other anthologies and wasn't impressed. However, I really enjoyed "Blind Spot," and will look up her Guardian series.
