Vicky Dreiling has done it again. Shes provided the reader with a five star night of entertainment with friends.
Amy Hardwick has gone to London to spend the season with her friend, Georgette, who she suspects will marry her beau, Beaufort this season. Amy has grown from the shy wallflower that we met in How To Marry a Duke, to a young lady dancing at the balls and showing off fashionable gowns that she, herself designed.
However, it is at one of these balls that she finds herself locked in a wine cellar with the devil himself, Will Darcett. Now, with a ring on her finger and a new last name, shes faced with getting to know this stranger who is her husband. Even worse, shes has to fulfill the duties of being a wife!
Will has been the spoiled little brother in the Darcett family and Hawk, along with his sisters and mother have decided to cut the financial flow to Will and force him to become a real part of the family. Will wants nothing to do with settling down and in his egotistical manner fails horribly at earning the monies needed to fund his next trip. What he didnt expect was to find a young lady weeping in a wine celler. However, after spending the night with her he decides to do the right thingor is it the wrong thing?
I hate to see this series end. I loved getting Tessa and Tristan and then Julianne and Hawk along with Georgette from How to Marry a Duke and How to Seduce a Scoundrel. Vicky has always delivered a wonderful story full of witty humor and delightful characters. I cant wait for more from this talented author!
