It was OK. The series is not holding up to the first couple of books. I have been disappointed in the last couple of ones. I am not a Dante fan and this book is full of Dante. Everything works out in the end. She is very Cocky in this book about how she can solve crimes. The Murder and issues surrounding it is very predictable. Too bad the police and Kendra do not catch up till 200 pages later. The way she traps the murderer is boring and unbelievable. She could have come up with a better way to solve it.

ADR (Animal Dispute Resolution): I usually like how she comes up with a twist to solve these. This was not really solved that way. It was just what it should have been. I was so interested how she was going to come up with a twist for this and there was nothing. Would have rather seen it not solved and see what happens then.

This is a series that you want to read in order. Each story builds on. Many pets and friends re-appear in later books.
