But, there is a witch-hunter stalking her and she knows that without her powers, she could be an easy target. Thankfully, she has her best friend Adam with her. Shes been in love with Adam since she was twelve, but he treats her like his best buddy, not a girlfriend prospect.

When the witch-hunters get closer than ever to Savannah, she knows her time is running out. Adam implores her to go to Miami, to be near the rest of the family, where she will be safe. But Savannah wants to help out Roni, an apprentice witch, who implores Savannah for her help.

Adam is adamant that its a trap, and he is fed up with Savannah playing victim without her powers. He knows she is still a strong person without them, but she wont listen.
