The treasured stone of Ancient Greece forced her into a deadly web of supernatural terror! Sorina had agreed to stay at the deserted mansion known as West House to write the Howald family history. It would, she thought, give her more of a feeling for the family that had lived there. The family had been savagely and inexplicably murdered the year before. Being calm and levelheaded, she thought nothing of the strange, almost spectral cat that seemed to appear at odd moments from nowhere. But then she noticed the Carnelian about its neck; felt the stone watching her, beckoning her. And slowly she realized she was being drawn back into a nightmare of carnage.
