This book was very good because it was: 1) written by Lisa Marie Rice who is one of my favorites; 2) that the hero Sam was completely besotted with Nicole; 3) the author gave me more than just a peek into Sam's thoughts and feelings; and 4) the sex was hot and heavy, which is standard for Rice and one of the main reasons why she's one of my favorites. On the other hand, there were some points about the story that I didn't like, which made it fall short of being a great story: 1) I didn't really feel that Nicole was uber crazy about Sam like he was about her; 2) the terrorism plot line, although interesting, isn't my first pick for a romance; and 3) Nicole's reaction to the ending crisis wasn't realistic. She really should have been a hysterical mess. Instead, she was too cool, saying something stupid like, "What took you so long?" Regardless, Rice is still an automatic addition to my wishlist. 4 stars.
