While Agent Patrick Bowers is investigating a series of fires he stumbles across another case of a secret deadly weapon missing and connected to the fires, while he is doing his job he also has to deal with his stepdaughter who resents him telling her what to do although she really does love him and she gets herself into a situation at the same time he is trying to save someone's life. The story flows from the very first page to keep you turning the pages as fast as you can.
