Fourth in the Butcher's Boy series, and you'll appreciate this so much more if you've read the others. When I saw Perry had another in this series, I was a little dubious. I loved the first, loved the second, but felt with #3 that Perry was just telling the same story again. But Perry is a good storyteller, it's not too often you get to root for the stone-cold assassin, and I figured so what, let's see what happens to Michael Shaeffer this time. And it is the same story but this time we see a lot more of how he was raised and trained. Loved how the Australia thing unraveled on him. Lots of action, very high body count, very engrossing - I finished it in a day. Pretty sure his first name really is Michael, btw.
