I'm not a fan of giving away the story or the plot, you can find that elsewhere, and most especially, in most other reviews. So, I just get on with my impressions such as Ms. Roberts has done it again, with another great read! I got this book a couple of weeks ago, but knew I was going to be on vacation (on the right coast) just prior to the release date and put it aside to read then (don't ask me how I waited!) when I knew I'd have time to read and actually think and write a review. As usual, I actually read this one in a very short time. My first night reading before bed, I doubtless stayed up too late doing so. I'm actually surprised the Mr. didn't bop me on the head a time or two. But hey, I'm on vacation, so there are naps! For me anyway, he's WFH! I had a hard time putting it down that first night, aka, the story was intriguing and moving steadily along. The characters and storyline are believable. I particularly like when this author's characters dream. I have such dreams. Occasionally. When I remember them. I almost thought with a title like Sunset on Moonlight Beach (# 5 in the series), Sheila Roberts was, well, sunsetting her Moonlight Harbor series. But if anyone's glad she didn't it's me. The character Brody, who has appeared in the entire series, most definitely needed his own story, and in Sand Dollar Lane readers find that.

Those familiar with books by Ms. Roberts, know that she writes about relation/friendships with a mix of romance and a lot of humor. Me? I'm a huge fan of all of those things. When you put the three together, I'm sold and this author never disappoints! I've said it before and I'll say it again, Ms. Roberts will make you laugh your way through the book and may even make you shed a few tears!

In the interest of full disclosure, I got this book free from the author in exchange for my honest review, but I've been a fan of Ms. Roberts and her books practically from the get-go and as always, am delighted to do so.

If you haven't read the entire series, you may want to look for them.
