I am such an animal lover, after i read Marley and Me, i didn't think i could take any more animal stories for a couple years. But i had the oppertunity and i did read this---what a lovely story--Dewey jumped into my heart right away and as with Marly, i will always remember this book and this cat. I know without a doubt that there is a place for all these beautiful and sometime somewhat not quite so beautiful animals in heaven. This little kitty changed a whole town!! Even government can't do that!! This is a read not to be missed.
