An very strong procedural/thriller with a number of divergent plot points that come together nicely, if not terribly convincingly. The first few pages are one of the most gripping kick offs for any book I've read. Just wish the ending had been a little stronger. Also, although not toted as a sequel to Starling's "Messiah," this book clearly follows the first and gives away a few of "Messiah"s more important plot twists.
