This, the 2nd book in the series is actually more interesting than the 1st. Vane Cynster is a much more likable hero and as a reader, you get to know him more than Devil. Patience is a perfect match for him because she recognizes her mistakes and seeks to rectify them almost immediately. They work well as a team and by the end of the book, the reader feels as if they really have spent time with these characters and cannot wait to hear from them again. After I read this one, I immediately read The Truth About Love, the story of Patience's brother, Gerrard. I was that hungry to learn more about this branch of the family. Overall, one of my faves!
