Tied with a Bow is a collection of stories by Lora Leigh, Virginia Kantra, Eileen Wilks, and Kimberly Frost. Ive been big fans of Leighs Breed series and Wilks Lupi series. I dont remember ever reading Kantra or Frost.

The book starts with Kantras Upon a Midnight Clear. It is about an angel who was casted down on earth because he helped a little girl survived the French revolution and he was not supposed to intervene. All the fallen angels receive help from a human man as they try to adjust to society. I couldnt finish the story pass the first few chapters because Lucien (the fallen angel in question) was such a spoiled ingrate. It was hard to want good things to happen to happen to him when all I want to do is slap him and tell him to get over himself. So it wasnt worth the read for me. Perhaps if I had read the rest of the series before I wouldnt have judged it this harshly.

The second story was First Light by Kimberly Frost. This is based in a world where muses are real and are kind of treated like celebrities. In comes an angel (takes about 24 hours for him to remember who he is and that he has to kill his nemesis demon) who has been stalking/secretly taking care of a journalist named Kate. Now Nathaniel and Kate have to choose to be together or to kill the demon because they cant have both. The story goes between intriguing and down- right cheesy. I think the cheesy parts are supposed to be funny in an eye-rolling kind of way. Regardless I did finish the story and thought it was okay but didnt like it to continue the series.

Human Error by Eileen Wilks turned out to be my favorite story. I might be biased because Benedict and Arjenie are my favorite characters from Wilks lupi series. Here Benedict is about to spend the winter holidays with Arjenies family. He wants to make a good impression since even though they are Wiccan, their interactions and knowledge of lupi were very limited. Of course within minutes of meeting everyone he is forced to turned into a wolf but some unknown force and everyone has to ban together to save the world so to speak. It was fun and the plot interesting. I was captured from the very beginning. The end was a little bit weird but it was a great read. Its not the best standalone book. It would be better if you have read some of the series in order for you to appreciate it.

An Inconvenient Mate by Lora Leigh stands up in sexiness to her other Breed series. This one stars coyote breed Malachi on his way to hunt a rogue breed. I do wish it was a bit longer so there could be more story and character development. It felt a little bit rushed but I still enjoyed it. Not as good as the other ones but still worth the read if you are into Leigh.

Overall a pretty good read. I didnt like everything but what I did was fun enough.
