"Quicksilver" is definitely a top-shelf action/techno/military adventure.
When unknown enemies take over the pentagon and America's control of her space assets, it is left to a few people to stop them and their plan to usurp our newest super weapon.
This is a page-turner with plenty of action, modern (or fictional) weapons and tech. The characters are easy to identify with and believable.
My only complaint is that too much political content sometimes causes a serious break in the overall flow of the story.
Good reading nonetheless,
