Natalie Buchanan is working as a nanny to save money for college. She hadn't planned to work over Christmas, but when her boss tells her there is a single dad that needs a nanny for a week for his seven-year-old daughter, Natalie is happy to make the extra cash. Natalie soon learns that Violent Holiday is not the angelic child as she was described. She and Natalie have a face off on their first meeting. To make matters worse, Violet's father, Maddox Holiday, is the guy Natalie crushed on in high school. Of course, he never noticed her then. Will he notice her now?
The first book in the Holiday Brothers series is a cute contemporary romance with a Christmas setting. The story reminded me a little of The Sound of Music, but there was nothing new in this story. I listened to the audiobook. Vanessa Edwin and Aaron Shedlock did a good job with the narration. I'll probably continue with the series. My rating: 3.5 Stars.
