Three stories about Brother Cadfael, the first one is how he decides to become a monk. It's a very short book - I think I finished it in an hour - and short stories are not my favorite, so I haven't picked this one up in many years. I do like the origin story though. My copy has some very nice medieval-looking illustrations in it, they add a fun touch.
