It's a good thing I read the reviews of books 1 and 3 in this series. Otherwise, I would probably have made the the same remarks I made in those two reviews. I never read a series straight through, often many months, if not a couple of years, might pass before I read the next book in a series.
So I'll just say that I really enjoyed this book. Graham makes his characters seem real. And the situations they find themselves in are believable and captivating. The best part in this book is the Poldark financial situation makes a strong recovery, even if some of the personal relationships have problems. But then these are "real people" and not the two dimensional characters you often find in many of today's New York Times best sellers.
