Why do I keep reading this trash?
When I first started reading the series, I found the writing style incredibly simplistic, but also found the straight-forward style refreshing. Betsy tells it like it is.
But eventually, the unnecessary use of SO much profanity just began to annoy me. These books are so short and printed in such large type that you can finish them in one or two sittings (I've read short stories that are longer...). I bet if you removed all the profanity from this one, it would only be half as long.
If you've been following Betsy's story from the beginning, you'll probably read this book, and the next, and the next, etc. Just don't expect much, and you probably won't be disappointed.
