Zsadist is the scariest member of the Black Dagger Brotherhood. A former blood slave, he has known a lifetime of anger and pain. But when female vampire Bella is kidnapped by the Lessening Society, Zsadist will not rest until he finds her. Zsadist rescues Bella, but we soon find out that he is the one who needs rescuing. Overcoming a past of physical and sexual abuse, Zsadist refuses to let anyone close to him. But Bella will not give up on him.

Wow! I couldn't put this book down. An incredibly tortured hero and a great heroine in the best series out there at this time. Not only do we get Bella & Zsadist's story, but we also learn more about John Matthew and Zsadist's twin brother, Phury. When you read this book, carve out some time when you won't be disturbed. My rating is 5 Stars, but I wish I could give it an even higher rating.
