Malpractice in Maggody (Arly Hanks, Bk 15)

Helpful Score: 1

When a new rehab center for the stars relocates to Maggody, the small town police chief Arly Hanks is left with more problems then usual. Those problems only worsen as things at the center don't quite go as planned.

Like most of the Maggody series, this tale is funny and crammed with entertaining characters. The action is also nicely paced to keep things moving without the dreaded slow spots.

The only problem, in my opinion, was the abruptness of the end of the story. Several subplots that had been built up in the first 200 pages were written off abruptly while a few are left dangling, soap opera style. Still, I know I'll be tuning in for the next installment from this gifted writer.

Highly recommended!
