As with all Fox's books, the theme is about two people from different worlds making it work.
The first half of the book was really hard to get into because I wasn't sure what Anne wanted so I can understand Connor's confusion. Did she want to be friends, get back together, what?!?! It really just seemed like Anne wanted to play games and the story floundered a bit. But towards the last half of the book intentions were defined and the book was much better.
Of course there is the Cinderella theme but I thought things ended a little too neatly in the end. There is humor but not that funny.
Okay book. Definitely something you get from the library. Not worth the credit or real money.
