Lake Season by Denise Hunter was a fabulous read for all of the above reasons and more. I was pleasantly surprised to discover the time-slip story featuring a love letter written in the 1960s that was never delivered. I got strong Signed, Sealed, Delivered vibes as Molly and Adam investigate.

This is a Christian romance so it's 'chaste' but has plenty of tension before the HEA. However, a MAJOR coincidence near the end had me rolling my eyes ... but the characters acknowledge how unlikely it is, so I accepted it. LOL

This is Book One in the Bluebell Inn series, and I look forward to visiting these characters again.
