Sammy's Hill is a good foray into the world of modern romance. This book follows an idealistic staffer as she learns the ins and outs of DC, and the relationships, both personal and professional that happen there. This book falls squarely into the category of romance and is cute and entertaining. However, the sequel, Sammy's House is far superior and I would highly recommend reading this book before reading that one.
