Cornelia Brown is a 31-year-old who manages a coffee shop when Martin Grace, Cary Grant look-alike, enters and changes Cornelia's life forever. You see, Cornelia was waiting for that moment - that perfectly-handsome-man-just-swooping-in-to-whisk-her-off-of-her-feet moment. Meanwhile, across town, 11-year-old Clare Hobbs is being neglected by her mom and is trying to reach out to her absent father. Clare meets Cornelia while Clare is eating with her father at the coffee shop and their lives change forever.

It's an easy read and it's written well. I liked how the chapters alternated perspectives (Cornelia, Clare) but was kind of thrown off by the tense at times. Love Walked In is sweet story and I liked it, though there were moments where it was borderline "corny" for me.

Overall I'm just relieved that there books out there that are easy to read and aren't rip offs of other stories with insipid characters and horrible writing. (Sorry, still fuming at the whole 'Fifty Shades' pandemonium.)
