Book Review of I Am Number Four (Lorien Legacies, Bk 1)

I Am Number Four (Lorien Legacies, Bk 1)

It became quite clear within the first 5 pages that this book was going to be an uphill battle for me. Grammar was horrendous from the beginning and the first major typo appeared on page 5. The dialogue was simplistic and stunted. The writing style was lacking, the plot paper thin. I was bored to tears by page 20 and the remaining pages were tedious & exhausting. Oh how I wished I never ever read this book. I loathe the characters, I find almost no merit in the concept and I cannot fathom how it is currently a "raved about" book. Even Twilight is superior to this. Yes, I said Twilight is superior...shocking, isn't it?
