Cover

I like the way the symbols are part of the cover. It's a bit mysterious with only a portion of the woman's face. There isn't much going on but it's intriguing at the same time. And her eyes are beautiful!

Characters

Zoey is a pretty decent main character. She's a typical teenager going through a life altering situation and she kinda loses her head. But she makes up for it. I absolutely adore her gay friend! I hope there's a side story about him one day. The twins are pretty cool and entertaining. Erik gave me a creepy vibe at first but he might just turn out to be a decent character in the long run.

Story

This book was really easy to get through. The plot is engaging and the characters are fun. It was hard to pull myself away because I wanted to know what would happen next. It's a unique story of overcoming one of life's obstacles and I'm interested to see where the rest of the series will go.

Quote(s)

Don't you think baby corns are scary? There's just something wrong about their midget bodies.
