I honestly don't know why I put off reading this series, other than I can't ever fit the books into my challenges. Lori Foster writes wonderfully romantic stories. Her SBC fighters are real gentlemen - perfect hero material! Even with all the female fans, they are still down-to-eart, honest and real.
So far, Simon is my favorite - what a terrific guy. And boy did he fall hard and fast for Dakota. She's more a tomboy than a girly-girl. She jumps right in and spars with the SBC fighters, showing her stuff and giving pointers. She's instantly a hit with all the men and Simon stakes his claim the very first time he sees her. A really sweet romance with a kick-ass back story.
