Sabina Kane is back and still seeking the ultimate revenge of death to her wicked Grandma, Lavinia, the head vampire. Book 3 of the Sabina series was my favorite so far. This time around Sabina and her cohorts (Giguhl her minion demon and Adam the hottie) travel to New Orleans. In New orleans they meet a whole new group of interesting characters including a voodoo priestess, a cross dressing fae, and a mage that has been shunned by the Hekate Council. There are also a few werewolves and zombies thrown into the mix.

The hardened Sabina begins to succumb to feelings alien to her, such as love and caring for her friends. She also has the chance to use her Chthonic powers. A showdown between Sabina and Lavinia is brewing. And a little more understanding of the makings of the underworld is explained.

If you enjoyed either the first or second Sabina Kane novels you will love this one!
