Emma Wallace, a member of the CIA's stake-out team, spends her free time trolling Central Park for vampires. Since her parents were killed by the undead several years ago, Emma has believed the only good vampire is a dead vampire. Scottish Vampire Angus MacKay has been asked by his boss to find the vampire-slayer and stop him before a war breaks out. Angus is shocked to find out that the slayer is a human woman. He is even more shocked to find out he is attracted to her. Now he has to convince Emma that there are some good vampires out there, and he is one of them.

This is a fast-moving, witty addition to Kerrelyn Sparks' Love at Stake series. While trying to convince Emma to stop hunting vamps, Angus and Emma are both being hunted by Angus' ex-girlfriend and her group of evil vampires. If you like light, paranormal romance, this series is a good one. My rating: 4.5 Stars.
